About the current KUGB Charity Appeal for 2014
The KUGB will be supporting the charity Smile Train, which was suggested by Ian MacLaren.
There are millions of children in poorer countries with unrepaired cleft lips and palates who have little to no prospect of ever being helped. Their parents are so poor, they could never afford surgery, so they wait and they hope that someday, someone will come along and help them.
It costs as little as £200 to give a desperate child not just a new smile, but a new life.
Full details will be sent to all KUGB clubs and be posted on this site soon along with sponsorship forms.
